Telling Story through Color.

This collection showcases over a decade of work as a comic book colorist. I began in Los Angeles at Malibu Comics, where I developed my foundation in visual storytelling—creating detailed color guides and using light, tone, and atmosphere to bring scripts to life.

I later led color production at VLM, contributing interior coloring across multiple titles. My approach adapted to each project—sometimes coloring directly from scripts, other times enhancing layouts with mood and rhythm. Included here are examples from VLM and my freelance work, including titles like Black Panther and Thunderbolts.

This early experience continues to shape my creative work today. It taught me how to convey emotion, build visual pacing, and communicate story through intentional design choices—skills that translate directly to my current work creating infographics, instructional visuals, and public-facing education materials.

In addition to grounding my practice in narrative design, this work also built my deep fluency in Adobe tools—especially Photoshop—which I continue to use to develop accessible, impactful content across education, research, and communication contexts.
